Long layers throughout the hair allows lift and movement for thicker hair. Heavier areas were texturized to reduce weight. Face framing layers where left longer so hair could be styled in different ways. Fringed bangs soften the look.
Dark Brown permanent color with rich copper and red was applied to the outgrowth of the hair. Then a Glaze (demi-permanent color) hue of copper (Sunset) and red (Rocket Fire) was applied throughout the rest of the hair for shine, tonality and richness.
Redken Play it Safe (450 degree heat protector with protein and moisture) was applied root to ends. Quick Blow Out Spray was applied all over for shine, 450 degree heat protection and 30 % quicker drying time. A 2″ round brush was used for smoothing and giving waves to the hair.
