Medium length layers add volume and movement to the hair while face framing layers starting at the cheek area frame the face. Texturizing was strategically used to give lift in the crown of the hair, the “Bang” area to lighten the weight that is framing the face and throughout the back layers for more movement.
Beautiful Highlights add fun and brightness while Lowlights give a dimensional “Pop” against the blonde. A Root Tap Glaze (demi-permanent color matching the darkness of the natural hair applied to the first 1/4 of the root area to blend the foil line of the highlights for a seamless grow out look) was applied then an all over Glaze (demi-permanent color) was used for the rest of the hair to take away any unwanted warmth and give a more “Pearled” color to the highlight.
Redken Play it Safe (450 degree protection infused with protein for strength and moisture) was applied root to ends. Redken Quick Blow Out Spray added another layer of 450 degree protection, shine and 30% quicker drying time. A 1 1/2 inch round brush smoothed out the hair while adding volume. Kenra Volume 25 Hair Spray helped keep the style throughout the day.
